Brush Pens are Still Available!

leave a response

Just got a hot tip from Komikero pal, Gerry Alanguilan.

Turns out that Brush Pens, locally distributed by Sterling, are still available in the metro…just not in any National Bookstore branches. Check out the stationary section at SM Makati if you’re still looking to get them.

Good news for those fellow comic book creators who prefer the synthetic bristles of the Brush Pen for smoother inking.

Is this is a natural or synthetic thing? What do you personally prefer? :)

Synthetics. Sable brushes are soooo expensive. :D

Special polymers and stuff like that. :D

“Sable”? Kaya pala, originated sa balahibo ng “sabletooth tiger”! :P Korni pa rin.

Hehehe.

Do you know where I can buy the pen nib called Zebra G-Pen? Not the Gel Pen but a speedball/fountain edge like. I live at the philippines Q.C. and can’t find them at National Bookstore nor expressions. Is there another name for it?

Ynlraey: You may want to try the more upscale art supplies store like Sketches at Greenbelt. There’s always Jolie’s at Espana though which reputedly has most of the hard-to-find stuff.

Sorry I can’t offer more information because I haven’t really seen the Zebra G-Pen around for close to 3 years now.

You can always opt to order it online though it will definitely cost you a pretty penny especially with the shipping and handling. Check it out here: http://www.wetpaintart.com/closeup.asp?cid=140&pid=60013&offset=0

Hope that helped. :)
