Or in this specific instance, comic book art.
Scientists discover kryptonite, that piece of mineral, that robs Superman of his considerable powers in the comic books and in the movies.
Strange but true.
A mineral found by geologists in Serbia shares virtually the same chemical composition as the fictional kryptonite from outer space, used by the superhero’s nemesis Lex Luthor to weaken him in the film “Superman Returns“.

Oh no! No more flying for me!
Ubos na ang Mabuhay Miles mo? He he he!
I think it always does. remember LASER??? and then the segway??? then cloning??? don’t be surprised if traffic, flyovers would be a thing of the past as there would be solar powered cars that doubles as a flying machine! so, if cars could fly by then, would it mean lesser accidents?? (cars as opposed to plane crashes??)
Flyovers will still be used, I think but will be for those who will not be able to afford the latest model of a hover car.
I’m waiting for the time when they finally perfect the lightsaber and the Jedi’s rise will finally begin.
Oops! Time for my medication.
I’m curious, do you guys have any info on other people who used to draw for funny comics?
I miss Tomas and Kulas, Combatron, Planet of the eyps (yes, I have the issue when funny komiks began printing on glossy paper)
I started buying Funny Komiks in gradeschool because I would get atrocious grades in Filipino (I’m from Bacolod) so my mom bought me funny komiks to improve my tagalog.
Martin: I got Louie Escauriaga, creator of Superdog for Funny Komiks, on my blogroll. Yes, he’s also a blogger. Check out his site here: drawingmachine.blogspot.com
Check it out!
