Johnny Hart, creator of the comic strip B.C., died yesterday at age 76 years old because of a stroke.
The comic strip B.C. is regarded as one of the best comic strips in the world. Launched in 1958 through Creators Syndicate, Inc., the strip appeared in more than 1,300 newspapers with an audience of at least a hundred million.
The comic strip will go on despite the creator’s death, however. Family members have an extensive archive of the artist’s works and will make sure that people who loved Johnny’s humor in his comics will continue to enjoy them for many years to come.

I’m curious. Did Johnny Hart continue drawing the strip until he died? Or did he retire some time ago and passed the torch to syndicate artists?
Johnny was actually still drawing (literally) when he had his stroke.
