I can’t believe I didn’t make the connection before.
The movie, Pursuit of Happyness, foreshadowed the death of Captain America!
OK, for those who already saw the movie…
Remember that part where Will Smith’s character and his son were crossing the street on the run trying to catch the bus? His son dropped his Captain America action figure but they didn’t go back to pick it up because they were in such a hurry.
The next scene showed the boy crying for Captain America as their bus rolled along.
Genius, I tell you. Genius!

Maybe the one who conceived the death of Cap saw the movie last year and got his inspiration from there? Just a thought.

Well, I’m sure you’ve noticed comics retconning/rebooting/changing to match their own film adaptations. Like Spiderman suddenly being able to produce webs naturally (i.e., no more need for mechanical web slingers).
What, do these studios think that more people watch movies than read comic books? I mean, what were they thinking?!
