Yeah, right!
It’s probably just another stunt designed to generate sales and create interest in the character probably to justify a movie adaptation. One of the titles listed for development by Marvel Enterprises, a business entity dedicated to producing film adaptations of Marvel Comics properties, is Captain America.
Like Marvel’s going to permanently kill off one of its flagship characters. Hell, even Bucky (Captain America’s youthful sidekick during World War 2 who died) is back as the Winter Soldier.
Remember the Death of Superman back in 1993? He’s back too.
I’d actually be more suprised if Captain America stayed dead. Even Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief doesn’t rule out the possibility that Cap going to be making a comeback.
Well what can you say? Anything can happen (and frequently does) in the world of comics.
What’s going to be interesting is how they’re going to explain his return.

Oh, there’ll be no problem explaining his return, especially when you can retcon/reboot your way through.
Rico: Ah yes. I have no doubt.
Unless, it’s not going to be Steve Rogers again or maybe they are going to clone him or maybe he deposited some sperm and “authorities” will fertilize an egg to “reproduce” him… hmmm plots, plots, plots…
Or the one they killed in the first place was the clone and Captain America’s really hiding out somewhere becase he was anticipating this attack.
yeah! just read it on the paper a while ago… i was shocked.
Fred Jordan: At least they’re generating interest for Cap now.
