Following is the superhero team I created for Architel, an IT solutions company based in Dallas, Texas in the US.

Architel was going to conduct a marketing campaign and they wanted a superhero team to represent the various services that the company performed. It was my first gig for them and it was followed by several other comic-themed projects such as Gahbunga.

Gahbunga is an app/service they created which basically allows you to snap a pic of your date, send it to your community, and receive a rating (he’s hot or he’s a dork) all on your mobile phone. Architel wanted a comic strip to show what the service does instead of a cut and dried series of step-by-step instructions.

Another fun project that we did was Frankenfeed a site that “combines your multiple RSS feeds to make a monster feed”.

It was great working on this one because not only of the comic book feel of the projects (Alex Muse is a comic book fan, I suppose) but also I’m a big fan of monster movies and Frankenstein is one of the classics. Too bad they decided on a different look in the end (they wanted to unify the look with their other services/sites).
