Nowadays, a lot of the comics you read, whether online or on print, are lettered digitally. Only a rare few are still letttered by hand. I came across this impassioned plea (via a webcomic) by Jon Morris for a return to the old ways.

I’d letter my comics by hand if I could READ my own hand writing hahaha
Unfortunately, my writing sucks, but it’s true, hand lettered comics have a nice and original feel to it.
Caroline: Read the comics. He has good insights on why we should hand letter and why a lousy handwriting is no excuse.
