Reader’s Choice Awards 2007

I’d like to congratulate Arnold Arre for winning the Reader’s Choice Awards in the Best Komiks category for his work “After Eden” at the Read or Die Convention held at the Hotel intercon at Ayala Makati yesterday. Way to go, man!

Arnold is considered as one of the most prolific artist around astoundning publishers and fellow comic creators with the speed he churns out pages and the beauty of his work. Other notable graphic novels by Arnold Arre include Andong Agimat, Trip to Tagaytay, and Mythology Class (my personal favorite).

Arnold’s art also appears in Graphic Classics: H. P. Lovecraft and on Graphic Classics: Jack London.

Other nominees in the same category are Pol Medina for “Pugad Baboy” (Volume 1), Gerry Alanguilan for “Wasted“, and Carlo Vergara for “Zsazsa Zaturnnah“.
