Otherwise known as RodCon 2007 is a two-day convention organized by the good folks from Read or Die Inc. in partnership with Powerbooks.
Proceeds will be donated to AHON Foundation. The event is supported by the National Book Development Board, the Department of Education, and UNICEF.
This is al happening on February 3 and 4, 2007 at the Hotel Intercon (the one besides SM Makati, I believe…the one on the left when you’re facing EDSA) from 9:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the evening.
A few comics people will be going. Gerry Alanguilan will be there to sell copies of Elmer and his work with Leinil Yu on Batman/Danger Girl, Superman: Birthright, and High Roads. He’s also selling some original artworks so better get there early if you want a piece of that action.

This is way off-topic, but the post’s title reminds me of a checkpoint along the route to Naga. It’s in Quezon (NPA country) and has a big sign saying:
SLOW DOWN OR DIE
