Inker extraordinaire and all around illustrator, John Beatty will be coming to the Philippines!

One of the best inkers in the biz, he has done work for both Marvel and DC (and various other studios) on a variety of titles which includes Captain America, Secret Wars, and the new Ninja Turtles comics.

I remember John best on his run with Doug Moench (writer) and Kelley Jones (artist) in Batman as his moody inks were the perfect compliment to Kelley’s out of this world pencils. They made some of the best Batman stories ever in my opinion. Favorites include The Deadman Connection (I got one glow-in-the-dark edition from BookSale) and a Swamp Thing crossover.

So, if you’re a fellow fan of John, troop on over to Robinson’s Galleria at February 18, 2007 from 1-4 PM and bring your comics and books for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have them signed.
